Marriage of Convenience Stories: A Reading List for Readers

Are you always looking for a certain kind of story, but just don’t know where to find them?

I’ve often come across reader platforms asking for books that are like another book, or a story about a certain profession and/or problem. It’s frustrating if you can’t find a new story to read when you’re really in the mood for – fill in the blank.

So, I’m going to do my best to help you out and provide a reading list with various tropes (see my blog post on what a trope is) so that you, my reader friends, won’t have to search long to find a new read with just the right flavour.

This week’s post, I’ve compiled a list of stories that use the marriage of convenience storyline. This is where characters “must” marry for reasons other than falling in love. I’ve also further broken it down into historical and contemporary stories. Books in both lists can be further broken down into romance, or romantic suspense.

And for your convenience, I’ve added a downloadable PDF of the reading list: GET THE LIST
