About

Once upon a time…

Brodeur Writes About Page Photo

I was a ten year old girl with a BIG dream. I wanted to be a famous author or a famous musician – either one would do – so I could use my talents for the One who gave them to me. I wanted to create art that would touch someone’s life.

Only one person mattered back then. Only one person matters now.

Always a writer…

Whether it was working on the high school newspaper to writing articles for various magazines, writing has always been a part of my life. I’m blessed to have been honored by placements in contests such as Writer’s Digest Magazine’s 87th Annual Writing Competition for a published article I wrote, to winning first place in Romance Writing competitions.

The journey to traditional publishing is long. It has its highs and lows. And it has an exceptional community. It’s a wise author who takes the invaluable advice of experienced authors, editors and contest judges.

Advice that has helped me launch my debut release, SNOWBOUND IN WINTERBERRY FALLS.

I’m so thankful for the people in my life who have had the courage to critique the good, the bad and the really ugly parts of my stories. I’m a stronger writer because of them.

My journey isn’t over yet – I’m just beginning! I hope you’ll keep me company on the road for many stories to come.

Ann
