This third book in the Natchez Trace Park Rangers series has all the same suspenseful vibes as the rest. Once again, Patricia Bradley treats her readers to a page-turning, nail-biting, bet-you-can’t-guess-what-comes-next suspenseful read.
Ainsley and Linc are very likeable lead characters, each imperfect with issues to resolve by the end of the story. Secondary characters pepper the pages, and perhaps Ainsley’s Aunt Cora and Grandma steal the scenes in which they appear. I LOVE those ladies!
There’s a lot of drama, chases, shoot-outs, cover-ups, and more. Patricia Bradley is a master of disguising the true criminal, leaving readers guessing until the final reveal. And then when all is exposed…
I look forward to the next book in the series (please say there is one!).
