The Bird of Bedford Manor: Book Review

Book by: Michelle Griep

Michelle Griep pens another adventure-filled-slow-burn-romance for Regency readers. This book kept me turning pages well into the wee hours of the morning.

Right from the first page, Michelle Griep pulls readers into Juliette’s world. Juliette has hit rock bottom and does everything possible to survive after her family has fallen from its high society position. Henry is determined to keep his father’s estate running smoothly and to uncover the cad who has been tracking his sister.

There’s much to enjoy in this story – the narrative clips along immersing readers into the regency world while following Juliette’s and Henry’s partnership to track a most disturbing intruder. Though it wasn’t difficult to figure out the fiend, I enjoyed following the plot until the very end.

It was such an interesting premise and a seemingly-impossible situation for Juliette to rise from. Michelle Griep handled it with finesse and I can’t wait to see what story she pens next.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
